Typography and abstract shapes work together in Nizar Kazan’s simple designs

Date
15 March 2016

Still studying in Lausanne, Switzerland, graphic designer Nizar Kazan’s website contains numerous fictitious projects that stand him in good stead for future commissions. From a visual identity for an art exhibition to a poster and sleeve design for an imaginary musician, it’s great to see Nizar taking work beyond the workshop and refining it further.

In each of his projects, the designer works on honing his skills and working out his personal style. A penchant for Helvetica and other simple, sans serif faces, understated colour palettes keep everything sophisticated. His whole portfolio is uncluttered and minimal with typographic designs working alongside abstract imagery.
