Beautiful and unusual art direction by Osma Harvilahi for Danish design brand

Date

Osma Harvilahi is certainly a man who knows how to turn a campaign shoot into something unexpected and beautiful, managing to elevate the things he shoots into sublime and unexpected tableaux. We’ve previously spotlighted his beautiful Marimekko shoot and regular Apartamento commissions as well as personal work shot in far-flung places like Kenya, but today we’re celebrating this ace new work for Danish design brand Hay.

“Basically I was commissioned to take the products on a trip,” Osma explains. “I decided to approach the commission looking for inspiring locations, materials and light that somehow reflect the design and nature of the products. This is the most natural way for me to work, be it still life, fashion or personal work. I always get so inspired by my surroundings and the small details of it.”
