Illustrator Paul Loubet is a young Frenchman living in Argentina and his fun, colourful designs combine the energy and passion of his adopted country with the tongue-in-cheek hypercool sensibilities of his homeland. It’s silly and joyful – with nods to mid 1990s computer games and other nostalgic pop culture references – and can be found as paintings, drawings, and graffiti on his website. Appealingly childlike in conception, Paul’s work doesn’t take itself too seriously and is a cheery way to kick off a Tuesday morning.
