Paul Smith: Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy

Date
5 September 2011

We have the upmost respect for Sir Paul Smith here at HQ, and I’m sure no-one would disagree with our bias. A stalwart of great British design, and supporter of many fantastic endeavours – some lesser known than others. What will undoubtedly prove to be one of the more famous causes he’s backed is soon-to-be-blockbuster Tinker, Tailor, Solider, Spy. Paul collaborated with the director in the early development stages of the film working in a creative capacity, offering thoughts and insights on 1970s London; mood, colour and photographic approach. To mark the film’s release he’s also created four limited edition silk screen posters – very handsome indeed Mr Smith.
