Photography: Best photo shoot ever? A crystal meth-themed editorial from Thomas Albdorf

Date
6 January 2014

What more can you ask a magazine editorial to include other than fried chicken, crystal meth, luminous Marigolds and expensive jewellery? This epic series from increasingly-brilliant Thomas Albdorf has been shot for Cut Magazine and sees anonymous, gloved hands experimenting with science whilst simultaneously displaying consumer items. What’s so exciting about this, apart from how innovative and crisp the images are, is how Thomas Albdorf has transformed overnight from a conceptual photographer with a portfolio of rather abstract personal work into someone who can deliver some seriously impressive commissioned, editorial work.
