PrillVieceliCremers create a magical identity for Houdini Cinema & Bar
PrillVieceliCremers is made up of Tania Prill, Alberto Vieceli and Sebastian Cremers. Tania and Alberto met in 2001, setting up with a mutual interest in collaborative work and each other’s practice. Sebastian joined in 2010, solidifying one of design’s most impossible spelling challenges and innovative studios.
Their identity for Zurich cooperative settlement Kalkbreite’s Houdini Bar & Kino is bright, playful, and functional. Referencing the tubing and typography of neon signs, 80s colour-ways and utilising my favourite refreshment-based ephemera, branded matches, they’ve created an entertaining and effective identity for what looks like a great venue in a new development with Utopian ideals.
