An old favourite is back with sparkling new updates, here's Raphaël Garnier

Date
18 April 2013

We love Raphaël Garnier, his wonderful French mind is capable of conjuring up all kinds of weird and wonderful shapes that are a trip inside the hazy limbo between graphic design and illustration. He’s been a bit of a man of mystery of late (yes, any artist without a website is a “mystery”) but now he’s back and bigger than ever with a very professional website, which launches tomorrow, and a new exhibiton under his belt.

Stuck Inside of Mobiles, Raphaël’s recent show in collaboration with Sixpack France was exhibited in Paris last month, and featured “fictional topography of his own underground world.” Because that’s the best part about Raphaël’s work, it’s like some kind of mystical eco-system that only he understands but that you can recognise tiny parts of. His ability to translate his infamous illustration into pieces of fascinating ceramics and textiles is just a hint at how far he is going to go, and we want him to take us along for the ride.
