There are specific, much sought-after clients for graphic designers – a cultural institution of note, for example, or perhaps a fashion label. But what about working for a government? Rejane Dal Bello was given the opportunity as a senior designer at Rotterdam-based Studio Dumbar, and has produced a number of De Stijl-inspired illustrations for the Dutch government using a language that, she says, “reflects topics that are relevant to the Netherlands.” The rest of her portfolio reads like a designer’s client wish list, and is of equal quality.
