Resonate Festival 2012: Jer Thorp

The enduring popularity of infographics has seen practitioners developing ever-more interesting ways of rendering them, leading to a virtuous circle of graphic loveliness. Canadian Former geneticist Jer Thorp is data artist in residence at The New York Times and has also had his work featured in The Guardian, Scientific American and The New Yorker amongst others. At Resonate he will be exploring the intersections between science, math, and art using custom-written computer programs
