Masters students Ricardo Ferrol and Johannes Bauer create a well-designed book on identity

Identity is a hot topic these days especially with social media adding to the frenzy and completely blurring the lines between who you are and how you want to be seen. So Ricardo Ferrol and Johannes Bauer’s book created for their bachelor’s thesis while studying at Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd in Germany and is a refreshing take on what identity means.

Titled Eins und Alles (One and All), the book is immaculately designed. A collection of interviews with actors, plastic surgeons, psychologists and others who are in contact so often with the notion of identity, the text is accompanied by images that correlate abstractly to the themes and ideas explored. With wonderful full-bleed images and interesting layout, it’s the way the project has been documented that increases the overall allure of this book.
