You may have thought you were into rainbows and bears but, I’m afraid this guy is dedicated through and through. So much so that, after looking through his work, you genuinely find yourself believing in the world he has created. Much like the folklore-infused work of Marcel Dzama, Richard’s rainbow-crammed pieces teach us a little about the goings-on of a strange, yet precise world in his head – and then some more. If his lands of children swimming in lakes of rainbows with ursine peers and game platform-like scenery sound habitable to you then you’re in luck – he creates them in life-size 3D as well.
