Sarah May

This latest American Apparel ad campaign appears to be missing something. Bums in see-through stockings, nip-slip prone leotards, a bit of man cleavage, perhaps? They’re the work of the ever-brilliant Sarah May, whose set-designs for Santucci & Co. have graced the pages of Esquire, Dazed and Confused, Wallpaper* and more. Her ability to transform inanimate objects into moving, vibrating, gyrating compositions kicks the notion of “still life” up the you-know-what and her quirky blend of colour and composition proves that, given the right translator, good products will speak for themselves.

An additional collection of impressive fashion spreads (featuring real live models this time!) further cements Ms. May status as a real rising star.
