More thought-provoking editorial illustrations from Sébastien Thibault

Date
14 March 2016

Throughout Quebec-based illustrator Sébastien Thibault’s work he places an importance on colour and objects. As a result they’re thoughtfully constructed and sparse in detail, with a real focus on the story being communicated. We last featured his work in 2014 and Sébastien’s ability to distil complex ideas into one visual hit is still strong with his portfolio bursting with even more commissions.

He’s worked for big names like The Guardian and The New York Times as well as smaller titles like foodie magazine Dinette, adding variety to his body of work. Often reacting to topical issues and hardline opinion pieces, the illustrator’s treatment of these concepts is always thought-provoking and immediate.
