I’ve maintained for quite some time that processed meats and some gourmet pates look like the rubber they use on the floor of various public transportations. And then I saw Sian Bonnell’s project Everyday Dada, more specifically, House Beautiful. Crocheted furniture doily or spaghetti on your sofa, this strange but utterly fascinating use of food recalls the pondering alternative uses for the contents of your cupboard, while also questioning why are things what they are? Crepe sponge? Why not.
