The quiet humour of illustrator Elena Xausa

Date
21 October 2016

Illustrator and graphic designer Elena Xausa is something of an enigma. For all my internet stalking efforts, I couldn’t find much information other that she was born in Italy (but now lives in Berlin), that she spends most of her time drawing and she’s just been taken on by the excellent 2DM management.

Luckily, her work speaks for itself. Elena has an acute eye for comic detail, and her drawings largely feature people (or characters with human-like characteristics) placed in off-kilter situations. Executed in clear, confident lines, Elena’s scenes are given life by the illustrators expertly honed eye for colour.
