Things

BOOM. That was the sound of things landing in your lap. It’s big, it’s clever, it’s full of printed matter that you should definitely own – and it’s all broken down into bite-size chunks to help you digest it with ease. Go on, get reading. BOOM. There it is again.

AWAY! AWAY! AWAY! Rosie Lee

AWAY! AWAY! AWAY! tells the story of Nike’s Run Dem Crew – a hardcore body of running enthusiasts from London’s creative agencies – and their journey to completing the London Marathon. Each week they convene at the 1948 store on our very own Bateman’s Row to explore the streets of London at speed and on foot. Told in six short photo essays and interspersed with excellent graphic visuals this is a surprisingly engaging read given the niche subject. I don’t run, but this is nice.

ADF Papers The Brisish Council

Immaculate design in these three booklets from the british council that feature a collection of essays exploring new directions in British architecture. Written by Wallpaper’s former design editor Henrietta Thompson and designed by objectif these are a really engaging read for anyone who’s a fan of staring at buildings and wondering “How did they do that?” 12 little volumes are published annually. Get your hands on at least one – better still all 12.

The Scientist Judit Ferencz

Judit Ferencz has sent us this lovely comic entitled The Scientist that deals with the rocky relationship between science and eye witness information. Using an article from The Economist as inspiration Judit has created a truly beautiful piece of graphic storytelling – immaculately conceived and executed with a real respect for the medium. Really, really lovely.

Mould Map 2 Landfill Editions

If it’s colour you’re after then Mould Map 2 is for you. We’re pretty partial to some vibrant tones now and again, but it’s safe to say that this blew our little minds. With comics and illustrations coming thick and fast from the likes of Sister Arrow, Rui Tenriero and the legendary Will Sweeney this is a must-have (yes, must-have) for any collector of comics, zines and general oversized printed matter. Thank you Hugh Frost for delighting us once again.

Christmas Decorations Graphic Design &

It’s December and you know what that means, you won’t be able to move for all the sloth, avarice and gluttony being shoved down your throat by televisions and billboards the world over (we genuinely wouldn’t change a thing). With that in mind Graphic Design & have produced these rather fetching tree decorations that feature the habits of some legendary nuns. A little something to provide spiritual contemplation to your holiday decorations. And they look lovely on our tiny studio tree.
