Tres Tipos Gráficos produce some of the most stunning fine art catalogues around

Tres Tipos Gráficos is the commercial moniker of Madrid graphic designers Alberto Salván, Nicolás Reyners, Luis Vassallo and Izaskun Pérez. Together they collaborate on a range of weighty commercial projects, including the redesign of Spanish cycling giant Orbea’s logo, some seriously tasty rum packaging and a restrained, classic identity for international arts agency Calabuch to name a select few.

In spite of all this large-scale brand and identity work, the bulk of the studio’s output is much more traditional and print-based, specialising particularly in the production of museum and gallery catalogues. Each one is produced with incredible restraint, usually balancing white space and classic serifs with the imagery on display. We’re particularly enamoured with their Cubism Collection for the Espacio Telefónica, a weighty tome of classic design that still manages to feel fresh and modern despite its historic content.
