Graphic Design: Vicente Garcia Morillo has illustration, graphics and type in the bag

Date

It’s an enviable skill to be able to blend illustration, graphic design and custom typography into one cohesive whole, particularly when you’re attempting to create all of those elements with your own hand. Many people manage to maintain polymathic careers, but few manage to master all of those skills, particularly not at a young age. In this respect the work of Vicente Garcia Morillo is particularly impressive, his bold illustrations composed with absolute precision and interspersed with type he’s drawn from scratch. It’s a recipe that’s already working wonders from him with big name clients like adidas, Urban Outfitters, Wired and Ministry of Sound all coming back for repeat commissions – and it’s not hard to see why.
