Volpin Props: Daft Punk Helmets

Date
8 November 2011

Harrison Krix, aka Volpin Props, has fried our little brains with his Daft Punk helmet replicas. Made over the course of two and a half years, Harrison taught himself a range of skills – including circuit board design – in order to create these beauties. Such is his attention to detail that the replicas actually surpass the technological capabilities of the originals, featuring programmable LED displays and an unbelievable amount of chrome. What makes this project even better is that Harrison made them in his garage which proves you really can do anything if you put your mind to it. In the future I’m hoping we’ll all be wearing these, and it’ll be awesome.
