Ken Garland joined Galt Toys in 1961 creating “honest design, playful innovation and desirable products for the post-war family.” Opening today at London’s Kemistry Gallery is a show of his work as the graphic designer who helped shape the brand into a the learn-through-play ethos, as well as his concepts for intuitively educational games with mega play value like Connect and Marble Run. Everything exhibited is from the 20 years Ken was resident, a truly delightful selection of original pieces and printed ephemera, concepts and catalogues. Showing until April 21.
