Yuichi Yokoyama: Color Engineering

Date
13 December 2011

Color Engineering is the remarkable self-designed book by cartoonist Yuichi Yokoyama. Stocked full of sequential paintings and mixed-media spreads that act like breathing spaces and fantastical landscapes between byzantine comic narratives – which could be showing us fantasy, or maybe the future in their mechanical architecture and “post-human fashion” – either way, it’s a trip to read.
