Photographer Bruno Drummond and set designer Gemma Tickle met working as assistants on shoots while they were both starting out in their professional careers. Realising they shared similar aesthetic interests, they began collaborating regularly, bringing pop culture sensibilities to personal projects and commercial work alike.

Repeat is their take on visualising motion using the act of repetition. Interested in creating a typology of movement, they’ve explored how different dynamic forms can be expressed visually; creating images that encompass extreme velocity, a lazy slump or an eager fluid curl. Bouncing rubber balls, card trickery and formations of soldiers marching have informed a set of real-world phenomena, translated into their abstract creations.
