Peepshow exhibition PeepShowRoom features new personal work by the creative collective

Visual arts studio and creative collective Peepshow is hosting an exhibition of new personal work to mark the opening of its new online print shop.

Featuring works Lucy Vigrass, Jenny Bowers, Luke Best, Miles Donovan, Spencer Wilson and Pete Mellor, the show brings together illustration, graphic art, collage and animation.

Billed as “a rare opportunity to see the personalities behind the commercial work,” the exhibition will focus on the individual personal practice of key members of the successful London-based group.

This aims to explore the influences and artistic development behind the studio’s output, exposing “their personal preoccupations, fantasies and aesthetics, unadulterated by commercial briefs or outside art direction”.

Lucy Vigrass will show Bouquet, a series of graphic compositions of floral arrangements, while Jenny Bowers is exhibiting Weekending, a series that depicts a single weekend of family life. Luke Best is showing The Wonders, about everyday wonders of the world; Miles Donovan is exhibiting his collage series Ulysses, and Spencer Wilson is showing Take Five, while Pete Mellor will screen his latest animations.
