To celebrate the launch of Orlebar Brown’s new collection with iconic Italian fashion brand Pucci we commissioned London-based studio Animade to turn some of the featured Pucci prints into GIFs – playing off some of Orlebar Brown’s key values of summer vibes, travel and good times.
Alongside the GIFs, and to support Orlebar Brown’s #MastersofPrint campaign, we also wrote an article showcasing some of our favourite print-obsessed creatives including Lynnie Zulu, Hvass & Hannibal and Karan Singh.
The idea of an archive conjures up images of dusty shelves and forgotten artefacts, but in the case of Emilio Pucci, nothing could be further from the truth. The Italian fashion brand is renowned for its vibrant geometric prints and now three of them are being given a new lease of life thanks to an eye-catching collaboration with Orlebar Brown.
The glorious coming together of pattern, shape and colour makes for a joyous experience and that’s why print designers are held in such high regard. Last week we commissioned Animade to turn three eye-poppingly good Pucci x Orlebar Brown patterns into trippy GIFs, this week we’re turning our attention to profiling creatives we believe are among the best around when it comes to working in this area. We are proud to present these #mastersofprint.
