What have you got planned this week?

I’ve got a few friends descending on me, so juggling social activities with my mouse and perhaps having a nervous breakdown.

What do your parents think you do?

Cheat… ha ha… my dad is from a fine art background so I think the use of the computer in my art doesn’t validate it in some way… but then look at the Gilbert and George’s show… a lot of it looked like Mac photo booth. They’re both very proud though… (my parents, not Gilbert and George).

Who do you look like?

Mick Jagger.

What’s your favourite sense?

Taste…a lot of my memories are about food.

Tell us something people don’t know about you…

I’m always waiting for it all to go wrong.

Did your education count?

It taught me to learn exam handbooks off by heart and regurgitate them in exam. I think it counted most after the age of 18.

What word can’t you spell?

Embarrassingly… a lot… I’d love to be a great speller but I’d prefer to be able to sing.

Tell us a good fact

An elephant is the only mammal that can’t jump.

What’s Next?

Holiday.

What’’s your ‘Plan B’?

Sleep.

    Modern 50

This online shop has a great selection of mid-century furniture and oddities to buy. Anything from a ventriloquist dummy to a vintage dentist chair. The photography of the products is beautifully executed too, just not sure they ship to the U.K…boo.

    Serge Luten

This is the best selection of Serge Luten’s work I’ve found on the net, all scanned from his book titled l’esprit Serge Lutens. I just fell in love with some of the pieces, totally inspiring and innovative. I demand an ode to Serge in Vogue please.

    Rumors

I loved the tactile quality of this invite and the rest of Rumors work is really beautiful too. Just the kind of graphic design I like, personable and stylish with it.

    Grégoire Alexandre

I love the playful way Grégoire uses fantastic props to interact with the models in his photography.

    OWI

Here is a site for daydreamers and snoopers. Right up my street. I could spend hours fantasising about what house I’d like to live in. The site has a good search engine too so you can look for lofts, shops, artists work spaces, offices…
