Edward Johnson Foundation

Date
19 June 2009

We were going to post up the Phallic logo awards as our final post but we thought it was a bit low brow, so to balance this out were also going to send you in the direction of the Edward Johnson Foundation. It is dedicated to the promotion of public awareness of calligraphy and many other lettering disciplines including modern typeface design. Based in Ditchling, Sussex the birthplace of the modern revival of calligraphy and the home of both Edward Johnson and Eric Gill, the Foundation is working towards the establishment of a permanent centre for learning, research and education in the lettering arts.
