Bastien Aubry & Dimitri Broquard

Date
23 February 2012

Last year, Nieves published In the Beginning it was Humid, some collected ceramics from Bastien Aubry and Dimitri Broquard who we know better as the Swiss design studio, Flag. Though their design has been exhibited, this is their art. Glossy vessels and anthropomorphic ceramic forms that look like they were created with more fun than finesse and, in some cases, appear like tangible interpretations of their more abstract designs. On a new dedicated site, with exhibition shots of some ingenious displays, you will find Les Cruches Molle (soft jugs) and Worst Only pieces (pictured), inspired by outsider art but very much in their own happy expression.
