Join Cachetejack and Dropbox for a collaborative workshop at OFFF Barcelona

From 25-27 April, Barcelona is set to be taken over by creatives of all disciplines at annual conference, OFFF. Alongside the jam-packed line-up of speakers including Edel Rodriguez, Kelly Anna and Man vs Machine, Dropbox is running a series of workshops for attendees.

Taking place on 26 April, is “The ABCs of Collaboration” a workshop with Berlin-based, Spanish illustration duo, Cachetejack. Made up of Nuria Bellver and Raquel Fanjul, the pair will bring their fast-paced, fun-packed illustration style to the conference, running an exercise in collaborative play.

After meeting at the Fine Arts University in Valencia, the pair found their collaborative voice through a common sense of humour. Ever since, their illustration style has grown and grown, now brimming with joyful colour, their signature sense of humour, and a little irony. In turn, attendees can expect a workshop busy with creative work and a lot of laughs.

Noting “energy, humour and playfulness” as the key components of the workshop, attendees will first be encouraged to work independently with physical drawing materials and computer software. The full alphabet will be collated together, uploaded to collaborative working tool Dropbox Paper, before forming a complete A-Z, Riso-printed poster to take away too. As well as running their workshop, Nuria and Raquel will also join Dropbox’s editorial director, Tiffani Jones Brown, on stage at OFFF the day before (25 April) for a main stage discussion “about their creative process, and a behind-the-scenes look at how the fun comes to life.”

Dropbox is hosting two additional workshops; “Free love at work: a meter meditation workshop,” led by Dropbox’s Tiffani Jones Brown, designed to address the reality that the creative process can be a bit crazy-making, will guide attendees in pausing from the hubbub to hear her “recipe for enlightenment at work."
