Here 2015 Speaker Profile: ManvsMachine creative director Mike Alderson

Date
9 April 2015

In the run-up to Here on 12 June we’re profiling the brilliant creatives who’ll be taking to the stage. Next up is founder and creative director of ManvsMachine, Mike Alderson.

When the biggest brands and leading media platforms need eye-catching and innovative visuals, they call up ManvsMachine. The design and motion studio works particularly closely with Channel 4 – rebranding platforms like More4, Film4 and 4seven – and Nike, for whom they’ve created a series of brilliant animations. All of this means Mike is ideally placed to talk about this space where design, moving image and brand identity come together, and he knows better than most how to provide creatively credible solutions for some of the most demanding clients around.

As well as Mike, this year’s Here speakers are digital guru Iain Tait, Grand Budapest graphic designer Annie Atkins, artist and designer Scott King, photographic duo Blommers Schumm, karlssonwilker’s Hjalti Karlsson and SHOWstudio editor Lou Stoppard.

We’ll also be welcoming set designer Anna Lomax, illustrator Jordy van den Nieuwendijk, graphic designer Charlotte Heal and Nathan Cowen and Jacob Klein, the brains behind Haw-lin.
