Fantastically bold new work from animator and illustrator Jack Sachs

Date
10 March 2016

Animator and illustrator Jack Sachs has added more zany yet well-crafted work to his portfolio, featuring commissions for MTV, Zeit Magazine and The New York Times among many others. A focus on cartoonish 3D renders, Jack’s work has become more character based in recent months. It’s interesting to see how the creative’s outlandish spirit and exuberant ideas play out within the confines of a brief.

Most recently Jack was tasked with creating some idents for MTV UK and MTV International and one sees a hot dog gyrating on a remote control car, perfectly encapsulating the network’s surreal brand of entertainment. A kaleidoscopic celebration of colour and bubble-like forms, Jack adds humour to the movements and physicality of his figures, bringing them cheerfully to life.
