Laura Liedo’s leggy characters are simply composed and engaging

Barcelona-based illustrator Laura Liedo has a great sense of colour and tone in her work as smooth purples and greens act as punchy backdrops for her lean and leggy figures. Combining lovely character studies with wide, panning scenes, Laura is great at conveying personality through her illustrations.

There’s an offbeat aspect to Laura’s portfolio where she experiments with different environments by putting characters into golden forests and musical space scenes. Her use of perspective and penchant for drawing faces in profile also keeps her images fresh and intriguing.
