Things

It’s Saturday and you’ve got your feet up on some kind of makeshift foot-rest as you casually recline on your favourite sofa/chair, computer perched comfortably on your lap. Perhaps you’ve just had lunch, or even better, you’ve still got lunch to come. Either way you know what time it is and we know what time it is, so let’s not muck about. Bring on the Things!

Klebstoff Sticker Magazine Wildsmile Studios

Growing up, we spent nearly all of our hard-earned pocket money purchasing football sticker books and packs of smug self-adhesive Premiership players just so we could line them up in neat little rows. Some of us did this without even the slightest interest in the beautiful game, just for the rush of sticking one thing to another. Klebstoff Sticker Mag channels this childish obsession with adhesion by allowing all the content to be removed and reapplied to a surface of your choice. Our particular favourites are the ‘marks out of ten’ selection that allow you to rank everything you stick them to. Simple but brilliant.

Constellations: Volume 01

Constellations is a festival of great music taking place in Leeds this very weekend. If you didn’t know about it already, you’re too late to go. But fret not, you’re just in time to enjoy the beautiful magazine produced to accompany the event. Divided into features on the festival’s acts backed onto A3 constellation-themed posters by a wealth of great illustrators, it’s a knockout addition to an already impressive event.

Fonts in Focus Linotype

It’s undeniable that there’s a bedrock of type fanatics out there that enjoy the subtle nuances of fonts more than is strictly healthy or necessary. For those of you that fall into that category Linotype are producing a magazine that caters specifically to your niche design fetish. With in-depth articles on type history, showcases of brand spanking new fonts and some unsurprisingly tasteful design, it’s a designer’s dream – heck, maybe it’s everyone’s dream.

Volte Face Beer Mats Sinem Erkas

Volte face literally means turn face, so the content of these beer mats should be fairly self-explanatory. Each one features a unique optical illusion of a complete head that reveals a different character when rotated. Favourites include Lord Lucan and the invisible man (visual pun!) and Pete Doherty with an Amy Winehouse chin. Plus you can send them as postcards. Full of win.

Eco-Organic Laptop Stand Jail

It’s wooden, it’s sustainable and it’ll stop your laptop from getting red-hot and making infuriating fan sounds at you – not to mention the numerous benefits to your habitually abused wrists. It’s also very attractive. Thank you Jail for making a laptop stand that looks appropriate in a mahogany-clad library. It was about time.
