The Converse Lovejoy Art Benefit commissioned 49 original works of art from 31 established and emerging artists from across the globe that is being auctioned to raise funds for Artists For Humanity, a Boston-based not-for-profit company whose mission is “to bridge economic, racial, and social divisions by providing under-resourced urban youth with the keys to self-sufficiency through paid employment in art and design.”

It’s Nice That has teamed up with Converse to introduce four of the artists contributing to the initiative via a series of interviews that give insight to behind the scenes of the great work that they do. We hear from Hamburg-based Stefan Marx, Montreal-based Dominique Petrin, and Brendon Monroe and Ben Jones, who both live and work in LA — to gain an insight into the artwork that each of the artists are contributing to the Lovejoy Art Benefit auction.
