Peter Saville and Nick Knight host a series of talks for Adidas Originals pop-up studio

Date
18 August 2017

This weekend, Adidas Originals opens the doors to the EQT Creator Studio, a new “immersive creative space” set in the heart of London. For seven days, the pop-up studio will host a series of gigs, talks and workshops from artists such as Kojey Radical, GRM Daily, Peter Saville and Nick Knight in conjunction with a new collection of EQT colour ways dropping this month.

Launching on Saturday 19 August, the studio will commence with a live performance from Jamie xx alongside various creative workshops “celebrating essentialism across art and culture”. Kojey Radical will run a slam poetry session, GRM Daily will host an interactive discussion inside a production studio, designer Peter Saville will give an insight into his groundbreaking career, and Director of Showstudio and fashion photographer Nick Knight will “shine a light on what it takes to sit among the world’s most influential and visionary photographers”.

Creator Studio aims to explore the “design and creativity that apply to the cross sections of style, music, art and sneakers”. With this in mind, the team will launch an EQT apparel collection at the event alongside the new colour ways to “stay true to the ethos of the original 90s EQT product range”.

The EQT Creator Studio opens on Saturday 19 August and runs until Friday 25 August at Victoria House, London, WC1B 4DA.

The program will be announced over the next couple of days and tickets are now available at the Creator Studio via Dice
