Theprintspace in Shoreditch will be opening its doors on 12 October for an exhibition entitled Photography on a Postcard. The show features the work of up and coming talent alongside more established names such as Martin Parr, Wolfgang Tillmans, Hassam Hajajj, Miles Aldridge and Dougie Wallace. Of the 550 photographers who have submitted work to Photography on a Postcard, a third came from an open call judged by Liz Collins, Dougie Wallace and Robin Maddock.

The exhibition is being held as a fundraiser for The Hepatitis C Trust with all proceeds going towards its campaign to eliminate Hepatitis C from the UK by the year 2030. All exhibited photographs are available to buy by purchasing a £50 lottery ticket which guarantees a photograph from the show, however, which photograph will not be revealed until the show closes on 25 October. There will be 1,250 tickets available, matching the number of photographs, while each print will be an edition of one and will come with a signed certificate of authenticity.

The Hepatitis C Trust is a national UK charity and is led and run by people with personal experience of Hepatitis C. The trust works to raise public awareness of the virus, end discrimination against people living with it and create an active community of patients willing to stand up and be heard. In 2016, the trust held a secret auction including the works of Damien Hirst, Grayson Perry and Harland Miller which went on to raise £75,000.

You can see all the donated work to this year’s show from 12 – 25 October and purchase a lottery ticket to secure a one-off piece of work here.
