Date

Debuting tonight on the Sundance Channel is the latest series of documentary shorts from the highly respected New York filmmaker, Chiara Clemente. The films, Beginnings, use their subjects’ early memories and formative experiences to reveal the “inner workings of the creative process and the impact of each person’s experience on their art.” Over on the New Yorker’s site right now you can see the first of the Paris-based episodes on Sylvia Whitman, daughter of George Whitman and inherent proprietor of the literary cornerstone Shakespeare and Company.
