After founding It’s Nice That in 2007, Will now oversees the creative output across all sides of The Hudson Bec Group which includes It's Nice That, Anyways, Lecture in Progress and If You Could Jobs.
Alex joined as director in 2008 and oversees the commercial side of The HudsonBec Group which includes It's Nice That, Anyways, Lecture in Progress and If You Could Jobs. Contact him to discuss working with us in commercial capacities across the group.
Matt joined It’s Nice That as editor in October 2018. He was previously executive editor at Monocle magazine and before that studied English and German at university. Drop him a line with ideas and suggestions, or simply to say hello.
Lucy joined It’s Nice That as an editorial assistant in July 2016 after graduating from Chelsea College of Art. She became a staff writer in October 2016, and in January 2019 was made It’s Nice That’s deputy editor. Contact with Lucy about upcoming creative projects or editorial ideas for the site.
Jenny joined the editorial team as It’s Nice That’s first news editor in April 2016. Having studied 3D Design, she has spent the past eight years working in design journalism. Please contact Jenny with any news stories relating to the creative industries.
Simon joined It's Nice That in May 2015 as a Social Media Manager, previously holding similar roles at Urban Outfitters and Ben Sherman. Becoming Senior Digital Manager in 2018, Simon oversees all of our digital channels. Contact him with any social media or digital enquiries.
Ruby joined the It’s Nice That team as an editorial assistant in September 2017 after graduating from Central Saint Martins. In April 2018, she became a staff writer and in August 2019, she was made associate editor. Get in contact with Ruby about ideas you may have for long-form stories on the site.
Jyni joined It's Nice That as an editorial assistant in August 2018 after graduating from The Glasgow School of Art. In March 2019 Jyni became a staff writer, contributing to the site on topics such as typography, illustration and digital creatives, with a particular focus on the Asian design scene.
Ali first joined It’s Nice That as an art director in February 2015 and now leads the creative team across editorial platforms and commercial partnerships. Get in touch with Ali with new creative work to be discussed for commissioning, or creatively-led ideas for It's Nice That.
Will joined The HudsonBec Group in 2016 as a freelance creative at our sister agency Anyways, following a degree from The University of Brighton. Joining It's Nice That in early 2017, he works with Ali and Elsa across editorial platforms, commissioning and commercial platforms.
Lauren joined It’s Nice That in March 2020 as a creative, working with Ali, Will and Elsa on commercial partnerships, editorial projects and commissioning. She has previously worked as an art director and designer in Vancouver and London.
Elsa joined It’s Nice That in October 2019 as Junior Creative, working alongside Ali and Will on editorial projects and commercial partnerships. She previously studied at the University of the Arts Berlin and has worked as a designer and art director in Berlin, Brussels and London.
Rob leads the project management team and oversees the management of our commercial and editorial partnerships. Previously Rob worked at experiential agency Slice and is also a founder of the record label and events company, Numbers.
Josephine joined It’s Nice That in June 2016 having previously worked as an editorial assistant at Phaidon Press and catalogue coordinator at Frieze Art Fair. Josephine works as a project manager across editorial, commercial projects and media partnerships.
Lucy joined It’s Nice That as a Project Manager in August 2019 and works across editorial and commercial projects. Previously Lucy worked as a studio and project manager for a motion design studio and before that as a community and education officer for Picturehouse Cinemas.
Faye joined It’s Nice That in November 2018 and oversees native advertising on It's Nice That, our monthly event Nicer Tuesdays and the delivery of annual projects such as Ones to Watch and The Graduates.
Jessica joined It’s Nice That in November of 2015 as our marketing executive. Before joining It’s Nice That she spent time at creative agencies Albion London and BBH, and most recently as part of the communications team at digital commissioner for the arts The Space. Ornella joined It’s Nice That in October 2020, having previously worked as a partnerships executive working with brands to coordinate projects for the creative community.
