This could easily be renamed Childhood of It’s Nice That, so readily were we transported back to the glory days of the 1990s when whimsical, enchanting and fable-like animated films ruled our weekends. Drawn and directed by Kadavre Exquis – a French graphic designer who’s done everything from music videos to photographing the Antarctic – this is the story of Archibald, a polar bear with the face of a penguin. He leads an ordinary forest life full of prudent walks and dancing mushrooms, until one day a bouncy red circle falls from the sky and changes everything. Let’s follow Archibald to the end of the world, where something very, very wonderful happens.
