French-born Montreal-based illustrator Mugluck makes phenomenally stylised watercolour compositions that are blistering with fast line work and strong, decisive mark making. She’s especially gifted when it comes to creating urban landscapes and unusual topographies, capturing the rat-race of tiny people and miniature vehicles bustling about in a towering skyline. More impressively she also creates live work performing alongside musicians to create large-scale canvases of graphic systems that represent the audio soundtrack with structures not unlike a musical score.
