Ponchan

Japanese illustrator Hisashi Okawa creates a bunch of super stuff under the pen-name Ponchan and his portfolio is a study in wide-eyed joy – there’s certainly something of the Julian Opie thousand-mile stare to the work and what appears to be an enviable collection of felt-tip pens. These drawings are colourful and funny and I like that Jesus and the children of the world are on our homepage.
