Field Notes

Date
31 October 2007

A joint project between DDC and Coudal, Field Notes are handsome soft-cover graph paper notebooks similar to the Moleskin Cahiers, ‘inspired by the vanishing subgenre of agricultural memo books, ornate pocket ledgers and simple, unassuming beauty of a well crafted grocery list’. Entirely set in Futura and complete with a list of practical applications, including ‘Hate Mail’, ‘Gambling Debts’ and ‘Loose Promises’, they’re a fine addition to that pile of blank notebooks you bought but probably won’t use for a good few years. You can see plenty of them in the wild here.
