We first came across Jorre Van Ast’s work when he teamed up with Damien Poulain as part of the If You Could Collaborate exhibition at the start of the year. Having recently noticed that project on added to his site it gave me a good excuse to look through the rest of his work again and in particular Clamp a leg (pictured), inspired by and learning from his previous Clampology project, “the clamp principle has moved to another scale: a clamp-on table leg. The legs are a more compact alternative to trestles. The legs come as an individual set of four legs to match any surface.”
