A detailed illustration of a chaotic, surreal city scene. A line of identical people in blue shirts march towards a subway entrance marked “Mystic Avenue”, while a figure in a red suit flies overhead. Nearby, a newsstand reads “Bad News” and “Forever Hot”, and a police car is labelled “Mapd”.

I was very recently introduced (or initiated) into Henning Wagenbreth’s world. High intensity colour and a refined talent in printing define his illustrations and lend him a natural advantage in graphic story telling. But enough of the crit, Plastic Dog needs your attention and so does Mond und Morgenstern – just two examples of how special this guys work is.
