Photography: Adrian Skenderovic's series of neglected basketball hoops

Date
7 August 2013

Right now we don’t know diddly squat about who Adrian Skenderovic is or where he’s from. We don’t know what motivates him or what kinds of hopes and dreams he’s secretly harbouring for his future. What we do know is he’s a crafty young street photographer with some very tasty work to his name. He’s mastered the skills required to capture spontaneous imagery and seems equally at home snapping in urban environments as he does in the depths of the jungle. We like his street photography loads, but we REALLY like his shots of lonely basketball hoops collected on his travels across the globe. There’s a solitary charm to these haggard old hoops, each imbued with its own strange personality from years of constant use and woeful lack of repair.
