The paper sculpture boom of recent years is finally subsiding but there’s no questioning that when it’s done well the results are fantastic. One such example is the work of Sydney based artist Anna-Wili Highfield who creates sculptures of animals from archival cotton paper that is painted and then sewn together. When not working with paper there’s also a small portfolio of copper pipe sculptures.
