Colourful but refined graphic design work by Prague-based Anymade Studio

Anymade Studio prides itself on a “playful” approach, and while this is evident in the colourful, innovative work it makes, there’s a more serious side to the agency. Based in Prague and founded in 2009, the studio creates a lot of work for cultural clients, and we were particularly impressed with its designs for exhibition catalogues and art books, such as the box design for a monograph detailing the work of graphic designer, illustrator and animator Svatopluk Pitra. Using bold typography and beautiful layouts of text and the subjects’ imagery, it merges the serious and the fun with a fresh turquoise and pink palette.

Elsewhere, the studio’s use of photography and layout in the catalogue design for Roman Štětina caught our eye, using a darker and more final approach befitting of the subject. “Function and quality are logically the client’s main interests – originality and overlap is ours,” says Anymade Studio.
