Back to basics with Davide Di Gennaro’s symbol-heavy design workshop identity

Date
26 November 2015

Italian designer Davide Di Gennaro AKA DDG’s identity for San Marino University’s design workshop week puts icons and symbols to excellent use. Graphics for each event in the seven-day series at the Italian institution utilised different icons, and as the theme for the 2015 workshops was design for territory, Davide’s identity draws on symbols related to cartography and map-making. Simple and largely undecorated, the back-to-basics design is thoroughly pleasing to the eye.
