Top up on fun and vitamin D with Eudes de Santana’s very well-travelled portfolio
Eudes de Santana’s photographic portfolio is almost suspiciously international. He has worked on commissions in London, Berlin, Cape Town and Barcelona as well as his home country of Brazil, piecing together a collection of images which are compelling and energetic, but which might lead you to believe he’s on a career-long holiday rather than busily working. On the contrary, it’s just that his clients – Zeit Magazine, Vice, Nike and Sony are known all over the world, giving him more-than-legit cause to travel to wherever the work is. And can you blame him?
As a result Eudes’ portfolio emanates the kind of energy that can only be created if you spend your weeks running, driving and flying from one place to the next photographing the most exciting people, places and projects going on all around the world. Above all else, you can’t help but feel that Eudes is having the best time everywhere he goes, whether he’s shooting models in the Maracanã stadium in Rio de Janeiro, or creating portraits of Metronomy backstage at the UK’s Reading Festival. Travel + fun + a camera is one hell of a foolproof recipe, so forgive us while we gorge ourselves on the colour, charisma and the cheesy grins that are inescapable on his site.
