Meet Frank, a lovely new stencil typeface from Bunch and Alberto Hernández

Date
20 October 2015

Typography? Frankly my dear, I do give a damn, about new typeface Frank, that is. The slick new ‘face has just been launched by London-based design agency Bunch and Alberto Hernández, in collaboration with Milieu Grotesque and is billed as “a new modern stencil typeface.”

It arrived at It’s Nice That HQ the other day, and we were first taken in, magpie-like, by the lovely bronze letter plate. But the face itself is as great as its packaging, offering a rounded, softer approach to stencil. Bunch and Alberto Hernández initially created Frank for a project to rebrand print production studio Cerovski in 2013, but only now has it been fully developed into a commercial character set.
