    Fraser Clark: Mona Lisa Book

Fraser Clark's book features 240 versions of da Vinci’s Mona Lisa found online

Posted by Liv Siddall,

Imagine how many images on the internet there are of one of the most famous images in the world – billions? Actually, considering a new one is probably uploaded on some kind of social media channel every second, maybe it’s infinite. Anyway, Fraser Clark, a very clever visual communication student from Glasgow, has made a very nice project about just this. Picking 240 images of the Mona Lisa from the good old internet and collating them alphabetically in a flip book, it leaves you wondering which one is actually closest to the original? I don’t know, maybe the one with a mustache. His other work is ace too, check out the cool Simpsons project on his website.
